Our method

Pretty is the invitation. Useful is the standard.

We make the stationery rabbit hole easier to navigate by separating visual appeal, functional fit, and verified facts.

What we evaluate

01

Fit

Who is this for, what job does it do, and what would make it the wrong choice?

02

Friction

Is it easy to refill, store, clean, address, mail, and buy again?

03

Finish

Does the material, design, and presentation add meaning—or only add clutter?

04

Facts

Are dimensions, materials, compatibility, merchant terms, and availability current?

What “picked” means here

A product or merchant can be included because its published details fit the guide’s criteria, because it offers a useful category, or because it deserves hands-on evaluation. We say which one. We do not label products “tested” unless they were actually used by the editor.

This launch edition intentionally recommends shopping directions and selection criteria before pretending to rank dozens of products we have not handled. Specific product reviews can be added as samples arrive and first-hand notes are recorded.

How money enters the picture

Merchants may compensate the site when a reader purchases through an approved tracking link. That does not change the order of picks or the criteria in a guide. At launch, direct merchant links stay untracked until each affiliate account is approved.

Corrections

Details change. The page should change too.

If a link, product detail, or postal note is outdated, the guide should be corrected and its update date refreshed. A public contact address can be added once the site owner chooses the final domain.
